Haa designed a brand new building for the Scottish Qualifications Authority and Learning Teaching Scotland in Glasgow.
55degrees was approached to make a short film about the completed design.
Haa's approach to the design was to create an environment of greater socialisation between the two government bodies who were previously located in separate buildings.
They experimented with existing concepts of colour and light to produce a more creative environment and came up with an innovative approach to informal meeting areas to encourage more communication between staff.
The film creatively explores the spaces they have designed, focusing on the clever use of material such as glass, tiles, and lighting as well as the innovative use of lines and structure to create these interesting spaces. Timelapse sequences present us with how the space is actively used as a work environment as well as showing us how people are encouraged to interact with the building.
