Oticon approached 55degrees to design and build a new website for the NHS Professional market. Oticon have a long history of focusing on the needs of the hard-of-hearing this forms the basis of everything they do at Oticon.
As well as being easy to navigate and full accessible the site also needed its own custom built CMS (Content Management System). Oticon wanted to have full control of the site but with no full time web developers in there staff the design of the CMS needed to be as simple and functional as possible.
The reponse to the new website has been a great success, with over 600 NHS Professionals signed up since the site was launched late 2006. The CMS allows Oticon to target the correct professional with the correct products which is now a much easier process than in the past.
