The Triptych Music Festival takes place over 3 days simultaneously in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen. Every year the organisers hold a competition to make a film documenting the festival.
55degrees’ content director Joseph Briffa and his crew shot this documentary over three nights in the three separate cities, running from gig to gig. The idea was to try and capture the feel of the festival rather than showcase the acts in any meaningful way.
What resulted is this competition winning short documentary titled "I ONLY CAME HERE TO USE THE TOILET"... a "slightly random and probably confusing film about the four of us driving around Scotland, getting lost and burning up hours of DV tape."
